Resistant Architectures ,2005

Society seems to be enthralled with the concept of the "make-over" or remodel. This project works contrary to that fascination as it explores the trace of architectures that resist the ubiquitous remodel imperative. Resistant Architectures is a series of photographs of fast-food chain stores (Pizza Hut and Taco Bell) that have been bought and consequently remodeled for a different, and often privately owned restaurant.
